WHY CHOOSE THE BOSCH INVERTER DUCTED SPLIT SYSTEM?
Use Only the Energy You Need
Modulating inverter technology delivers only the amount of hot or cool air needed to achieve the desired room temperature. With an 18 SEER rating and 9.5 HSPF, the Bosch Inverter Ducted Split system can provide maximum comfort levels at a minimum cost.
Heats Up Quickly for Fast Response
It takes traditional air conditioner/heat pump systems a long time to reach the homeowner’s chosen temperature, while the boosted compressor speed of Bosch’s inverter technology allows for quicker, smoother, and more efficient heating and cooling of your home.
Steady Room Temperature
Single Stage non-modulating conventional heat pumps frequently cycle on and off. This on and off operation can result in uncomfortable temperature swings. Bosch’s inverter-driven technology self-adjusts, providing consistent room temperature regardless of the outdoor temperature.
Quiet Comfort Achieved
The Bosch Inverter Ducted Split System is one of the quietest air-to-air systems on the market.
Through the use of silent blade technology, sound-isolating mounts, and outdoor condensing section placement, the system can deliver outdoor sound levels as low as 56 dBA, which is far superior to any standard system on the market.
Intelligent Control
By pairing the Bosch Inverter Ducted Split System with the proper thermostat, this Bosch IDS will learn your preferences and adjust the output capacity to match your ideal temperature needs.
Energy Use Is Even & Steady
Traditional AC units turn on and off. This on/off creates an in-rush current surge, which uses more energy and causes unneeded wear and tear on your system.
The Bosch inverter system steadily ramps up operation, avoiding spikes in energy use and protecting the system’s life span.
Residential Limited Warranty
No need to register to get the 10-year parts warranty. You get peace of mind knowing you’ll receive replacement parts protection for up to 10 years right out of the box. This standard offering covers all components incorporated into the heat pump system at the time of manufacture. All other Bosch components or parts installed in the field have a one-year parts warranty.
Robust, Cost-Efficient, Dependable & Reliable Indoor Air Handler
Bosch offers several air handlers to pair with ACs that range from sizes of 2-ton to 5-ton. These units are robust and can be installed in multiple positions and applications. The cabinets are constructed with a commercial-grade, powder-coated steel, field convertible for horizontal right, horizontal left, or downflow/counterflow applications. The Bosch air handler comes ready to install for upflow applications.
Imagine losing your primary heat when you need it most. Rest assured that Bosch allows you to have three ways to heat your home. Electric heat can be added to the Bosch air handler for additional heat on-demand when you need it.
The Bosch air handler doesn’t stop with air conditioning and heating your home. It has an intuitive blower motor that’s a constant torque ECM motor. The motor comes standard in all units regardless of size or configuration. These high-efficiency blower motors can deliver comfortable airflow at quiet sound levels while adjusting to changing conditions in your home. The Bosch air handler is designed to be the ultimate manager of humidity control in the home.
The cabinet of the Bosch air handler comes with foil-faced insulation to prevent fibers from entering the air stream and prevent energy loss through the cabinet.
The A-Coil, or evaporator coil, located in the Bosch air handler is a specifically designed evaporator coil shape that has a low static pressure drop and high-efficiency heat transfer capabilities along with latent heat (humidity) removal. Not all evaporator coils are created equal and Bosch has engineered an A-coil that’s far superior to your traditional evaporator coil.
Bosch’s A-Coil includes multiple drain pans at no additional cost to accommodate vertical or horizontal installations. Auxiliary drain connections are also available if the local code requires an auxiliary drain pan. The drain pans are made of a durable-grade corrosion-resistant composite material for strength and durability rated to withstand 4000 degrees F. Both drain pans have also been tested to resist UVC light.
High-Efficiency Air Conditioner/Heat Pump
Intelligent control features with built-in algorithms help adjust the amount of cold air that’s produced. This allows the unit to keep the temperature at your desired level without fluctuation, keeping humidity in check during hot, humid summers. Whether it’s summer or winter, the Bosch system keeps your home comfortable and better conditioned than a traditional air handler.
The outdoor condenser coils are designed to provide exceptional heat transfer and low air-resistance. This equates to high-efficiency operation that can help lower your summer and winter energy costs.
Bosch’s outdoor air conditioner’s direct-drive fan blade provides vortex suppression. This technology reduces the sound of air exiting the condensing section, retaining relatively low noise at high speeds – with sound levels as low as 56 dBA.
The Bosch high-efficiency variable capacity inverter compressor can adjust output to any level between 25% and 110% of its capacity, to perfectly cool and heat your home using minimal energy for maximum comfort.
All Bosch condensing units come standard with an electronic expansion valve (EEV). By using this sophisticated technology, Bosch ensures proper refrigerant flow during all possible conditions, optimizing the unit’s process to the highest efficiency possible.
Technician-Friendly Bosch Multi-Positional Cased Coils
The Inverter Ducted Split Evaporator Coil, when paired with a furnace or a Bosch air handler along with an inverter ducted outdoor condensing unit, will deliver some of the best comfort levels and efficiency on the market today. Bosch offers a complete range of multi-position cased evaporator coils to fit your needs.
Bosch-Cased Evaporator Coil
The Bosch-cased evaporator coils include easy-to-clean foil-back insulation, which helps protect against energy loss and keep the unit quiet.
Bosch offers a complete range of 10 evaporator coils from 2- to 5-ton sizes, in all orientations to fit all duct sizes and meet your heating and AC needs. Bosch-cased coils can be easily installed for retrofit applications. The Bosch-cased A-coils are constructed with heavy-duty, commercial-grade, powder-coated steel for durability.
Bosch-Cased Evaporator Coil Dual Drain Pan
Bosch’s cased coil includes a bottom drain pan and a side drain pan, so the unit can be mounted horizontally or vertically. The Bosch air conditioner coil drain pans help reduce the buildup of mold, bacteria, and airborne pollutants, no matter their orientation. The pans are made of a strong, 94-5V (QMFZ2) rated plastic and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for high strength and durability. Bosch drain pans have been tested to resist UVC light.
Slide-Out for Uncased Bosch Coil Application
Bosch’s all-aluminum coil with all-aluminum fins and aluminum tubing help prevent formicary corrosion while maintaining the high heat transfer efficiency, thereby increasing the unit’s longevity and cost savings.
The Bosch A-Coil is a specifically designed evaporator coil shape that allows for low static pressure drop and high-efficiency heat transfer capabilities, along with optimum latent (humidity) removal. These evaporator coils come with a thermal expansion valve (TXV) to ensure superior refrigerant flow during varying conditions. This process optimizes the highest efficiency possible.
